WE MADE IT and we made plans to read over the break! Each student took at least 2 books from our class library home for the holiday (some took more). We held ourselves accountable by posting our plans on our Currently Reading board. As a bonus, the fact the titles are listed right on their name cards will make it really easy to track down any missing books when we come back in January. We are starting The One and Only Ivan tomorrow, which means that we looked at new See-Think-Wonder pictures and anticipation statements today! I love showing my kids these, telling them that each one connects to our novel, and watching them make predictions. I leave these up throughout the book for us to refer back to. #iteachtoo #iteachfourth #teachergram #teachersofinstagram #readaloud
